Job Description Our Facility Maintenance Technician is in charge of keeping our residents living areas well-kept and serviced to high standards. You should also be able to resolve resident complaint and queries promptly and in a polite manner. You are the right candidate if you are pleasant, detailed oriented and friendly. Tuesday/Wednesday OFF Thursday-Monday 1:30pm-10:00pm 40hrs a week with a half hour lunch Responsibilities
  • Assist Maintenance Director in identifying needed repairs or replacements in apartments, rooms, common areas, landscaping, parking areas, etc.
  • Completed work orders from residents assigned to by our Maintenance Director
  • Assist with preventative maintenance to refurbish or replace deteriorating items and avoid costly repairs
  • Completes special projects as directed
  • Light custodial work, including common area bathrooms and vacuuming hallways.
  • Maintain exterior of building to support our contracted landscaping, like leaf blowing porches/sidewalks , picking up debris. Light work for exterior.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience of at least 1 year in general maintenance and/or construction
  • Must have a valid driver’s license in the State
  • Must be knowledgeable of maintenance practices and procedures in plumbing, electrical, hvac, etc.
