LOCATION(S): Adult Education, Alternative High School
Qualifications required N.Y.S Certification, Administration
tasks: The Adult Education Administrator is responsible for coordination and implementation of Adult Career and Tech and Literacy Programs. The right candidate will act as a principal for the Adult Learning Institute (ALI), planning/developing and scheduling programs, maintaining a safe school environment, and communicating with the faculty, staff, students and the community regarding the expectations of the courses.
this job offer will also be responsible for oversight of weekend building usage for the Dutchess BOCES agency. In general, weekday hours are 1 pm to 9 pm, with flexibility located on the ALI class schedule and the need for building administration over the weekend.
In addition, the person will support the development of flyers, hiring of staff, program development, discipline, and ensure compliance for our grant funded programs. Familiarity with grants and budgeting procedures is a plus in this job offer.
